Fundada em 1991, a CONAP é uma cooperativa nacional que conta com cerca de 300 cooperados, nos Estados de Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Bahia e Rio Grande do Sul. A CONAP suporta seus cooperados desde o contato inicial com as abelhas até o processamento e comercialização dos produtos como: Mel, Méis Compostos, Propolis in Natura, Extratos de Propolis, Spray, Geléia Real, Pólen, Bio Trio Tabletes, entre outros. Assim, investindo na produção dos associados, eles sobrevivem com suas famílias no campo, com recursos de seus próprios trabalhos.

Considerando os desafios do novo milênio a CONAP investiu na construção de uma moderna sede, situada em Nova Lima, Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. São 5.400 m2 de área, com instalações modernas, planejadas para oferecer perfeita funcionalidade.

CONAP: building the quality of propolis and honey

CONAP is a Brazilian Beekeeping Cooperative founded in 1991 to improve the standard of living of small producers. Conap supports approximately 300 beekeepers, cooperators, from several states (Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Bahia and Rio Grande do Sul) from the initial contact with the bees until the processing and commercialization of products as Honey, Raw Propolis, Propolis Extracts, Spray, Royal Jelly Tablets, Pollen Tablets Bio Energetic Trio Tablets and others. It helps them and their families to remain in the country area. Investing on their production, they may survive with the resources of their own work.

Considering the challenges of the new millennium, CONAP has invested on a modern building situated in Nova Lima, in Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region. The installations were planned to offer perfect functionality. To guarantee excellent quality control, CONAP performs chemical tests in all the phases of the production process to stand out the patterns that distinguish the products.
